Third extension of our permit

Jul 29, 2007

Orginally, the Permit was set to expire on June 30, 2007

Nestlé Waters Canada has applied to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE) to renew our Permit to take Water from our on-site production well to supply our Aberfoyle bottling facility.  This is a renewal of our existing Permit to take Water, which was issued in 2005. We have requested the same water volume allowed in our current Permit for a period of five years.

The MOE has extended our existing Permit to take Water, under its current terms and conditions, until April 18, 2008.

This is the third extension of our Permit, which was originally set to expire on June 30, 2007.

The MOE is currently undertaking an extensive review of the technical studies submitted by Nestlé Waters Canada. The MOE anticipates that a technical review of all submitted information will be complete by the end of March and has provided the extension to ensure that the parties examining the data are given adequate review time.

The MOE anticipates that this will be the final extension of our Permit to take Water and that a final decision on the status of the Permit will be made by April 18, 2008.
