What's Happening at Nestlé Canada

About Us >

The water bottling and distribution business is one of the oldest forms of commerce in the world. The origins of bottled water can be traced back to 10,000 BC, where early man was transporting and supplying water from natural sources in primitive vessels and skins to their dwellings.

Environmental Stewarship >

At Nestle Waters Canada, our commitment to sustainable practices and to the environment is paramount. Managing and protecting our spring sources, monitoring the quality of our water, reducing packaging, and increasing recycling efforts are responsibilities we take very seriously.

Our Brands >

The Nestlé brands are another strategic asset for Nestlé Waters. They originated in the global need for a safe family drinking water with a pleasant taste, affordable price and tailored to local preferences. This need gave rise to a new multi-site production process for bottled water based on a simple idea: a single brand of water produced at a variety of sites, thus reducing costly logistical, warehousing and transport constraints – which are particularly high in the bottled water sector – enabling consumers to enjoy the product at a more attractive price under a strong brand identity.

Creating Shared Value>

For a business to be successful in the long term, it must create value not only for its shareholders but also for society.

We call this commitment Creating Shared Value (CSV); and we focus our efforts in three key areas: nutrition, water and rural development. Those areas are core to our company’s business strategy and essential to creating a better and healthier world in the 21st century.
