Helping our Neighbours in Enderby, B.C. Cope with Rising Floodwaters

To Press Releases listMay 15, 2017

Thousands of Canadians across the country are struggling with rising floodwaters due to persistent rainfall and heavy snowmelt. This weather has contributed towards poor water quality and boil water advisories for some communities – such as Enderby, British Columbia, a community four hours from the Nestlé Waters Canada distribution centre in Chilliwack. Upon news of their boil water advisory, we immediately reached out to the City to see what we could do to help.

Supported by a number of community partners, we were able to donate over 2,000 cases of water to the City of Enderby, as well as several retirement residents in Vernon, Armstrong and Enderby. This was made possible with the help of Stryder Motor Freight, for donating delivery to multiple drop off locations in the community, and the Enderby Lions Club, for volunteering time to deliver cases of water to those unable to make it to the pick-up location.

This Global News article has details on how you or someone you know in Enderby can have a case of water delivered.
