PUSLINCH, Ontario –Nestlé Waters Canada, Canada’s market share-leading manufacturer and distributor of healthy beverage choices, today announced that Debbie Moore has been appointed President of the Company, effective immediately.

John Zupo, who had served as President of the Company since April 2010, was appointed Business Executive Manager and Executive Vice President/General Manager, Tea, Nestlé Waters North America, effective September 1, 2013.

Until her promotion, Ms. Moore had served Nestlé S.A. at its Vevey, Switzerland, headquarters as Global Head of Customer Facing Supply Chain/Customer Service, Corporate Supply Chain. She brings more than 25 years of Nestlé-related experience to the role, having served in senior sales and customer service roles with Nestlé Canada Inc. In her new role, Ms. Moore will be responsible for the overall operations of Nestlé Waters Canada, including revenue, profit, market share, environmental stewardship, product quality and customer satisfaction.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to lead Nestlé Waters Canada, as the Company is well positioned for continued strong growth in the Canadian market,” explained Ms. Moore. “The Canadian bottled water market has been growing steadily over the last three years -- and Nestlé Waters Canada is competing aggressively for a share of that new business.

“Today, we are Canada’s most popular natural spring water producer and complemented by our environmental leadership investments in such initiatives as lighter bottles and containers made of 100% recycled plastic and our industry stewardship in such areas as public spaces recycling and natural resources management, we are well-positioned for continued growth in the future.”

“Given her long track record of success in Canada as well as internationally with Nestlé, I am very pleased that Debbie will now lead our Canadian organization,” said Tim Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé Waters North America. “I am very confident that, in her new role as President, Debbie will help Nestlé Waters Canada to continue along its current path of sustainable, long-term growth in the Canadian market.”
