Company donates bottled water to assist those in need during holidays
VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Nestlé Waters Canada, Canada’s marketshare-leading manufacturer and distributor of healthy beverage choices, today announced that it has donated $12,335 worth of bottled water to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society to assist its efforts in support those in need during the holiday season.
About 14,832 bottles of water are being delivered to The GVFBS’ distribution centre in Vancouver, where it will be used to help people in need of water for nourishment and hydration.
About The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society
Established in 1982, The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (GVFBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and related assistance to those in need. The GVFBS collects and distributes food for nearly 27,000 people weekly through 15 food depots and over 100 community agencies located in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore. The GVFBS does not receive government funding and relies solely on the generosity of individuals and organizations willing to donate funds, food and time.
