Nestlé Waters Canada donates $1,000 worth of bottled water to Catholic high school in Hamilton with water challenges

Bottled water will be provided to students until water infrastructure repaired

HAMILTON, Ontario -- Nestlé Waters Canada, Canada’s marketshare-leading manufacturer and distributor of healthy beverage choices, today announced that it has donated $1,000 worth of bottled water to Academie Catholique Mere-Teresa secondary school to ensure students have access to potable water until repairs are completed to the institution’s water infrastructure system.

More than 4,000 bottles of water were delivered to the school within hours of its request. If more bottled water is required, Nestlé Waters Canada has committed to donate more. The Company has also donated the cost of shipping the water to the school from its distribution centre in the Township of Puslinch.

Nestlé Waters Canada regularly donates bottled water to municipalities and other organizations in need during local, provincial and national emergencies, largely through its national relationship with the Canadian Red Cross as official bottled water sponsor. Over the last ten years, the Company has donated millions of bottles of water during floods in Manitoba, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan, forest fires in British Columbia and northern Ontario and boil-water advisories and other potable water challenges across Canada.
