Reduce, Reuse, Replenish panel at the 2018 Canadian Water Summit.

Nestlé Waters was once again a proud sponsor and participant at the annual Canadian Water Summit, the largest and most diverse gathering of business, government, academic, and non-profit water leaders in Canada.

Nestlé Waters Canada Natural Resource Manager Andreanne Simard spoke on Plenary 2: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Data to Informing Private Sector Water Use. Joined by Jon Radtke, Water Sustainability Program Director at Coca-Cola North America, Alexis Morgan of World Wildlife Fund International, and Lara Ellis, Director of Strategic Initiatives at ALUS Canada, the panel offered their insights from each of their respective industries about water management and how science guides decision making.

One of the main takeaways from the panelists is that businesses across all industries can learn from each other and benefit from working together and sharing best practices. There is a lot of opportunity for collaboration in the water industry and we can always accomplish more working together than not.

In addition to the panel, Nestlé Waters Canada hosted summit attendees at the bottling facility in Hope, British Columbia, where attendees went on a factory and springs tour to learn more about Nestlé Waters and water bottling in general. While we do not regularly host tours open to the public, keep an eye out for more information on our Open House coming up September 2018 in Hope where all are welcome to join the Nestlé Waters team for a factory and springs tour.
