Nestlé Waters Speaks to Local School Groups on Groundwater Management

At Nestlé Waters, our passion is water- which is one of the reasons we love the opportunity to visit schools and host school groups talking about groundwater management and the work our Natural Resources team does at Nestlé Waters.

On November 24th, Nestlé Waters Canada’s Natural Resource Manager Andreanne Simard led the University of Guelph Water Environment Association of Ontario and Ontario Water Works student chapter on a monitoring tour, showing first-hand how we conduct our environmental monitoring, and also shared a brief presentation on our water stewardship practices.

On December 15th, Andreanne was asked to speak to grade 1 and 2 classes at Aberfoyle Public School on the water cycle, groundwater, and why it is important to care about water. It was encouraging to see so many young minds interested in water!

Throughout the year, we’ve also hosted classes from the University of Waterloo, University of Guelph, and Halton Hills Christian School. There is nothing more important to us than being transparent and working together with our communities to manage and protect groundwater.

We look forward to all of the bright, young minds we will meet in 2018!
