Nestlé Waters is proud to once again support the great initiative Project Water by Engage and Change.
Project Water was founded in 1999 by Jody Steinhauer after learning that in Canada, more homeless people die from dehydration in the summer than from exposure in the winter.
This year, volunteers were able to pack and distribute 300,000 bottles of water and 3,000 summer survival kits to over 170 Toronto and GTA non-profit agencies, homeless shelters, outreach programs and drop-ins. These kits will be given to people living on the street who need them to survive the extreme heat in the summer.
Nestlé Waters Canada is a proud supporter of Project Water and looks forward to our continued partnership.
