Guelph, ON – As part of our ongoing commitment to community stewardship, Nestlé Waters Canada has extended the office hours for the Middlebrook Siting Project through April 2016. Residents of Centre Wellington are invited to visit the Nestlé Waters Canada community office located at 9 Mill Street East, Elora, Ontario. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the proposed pump test permit from Andreanne Simard, Hydrogeologist and Natural Resource Manager at Nestlé Waters Canada.
As the first step in the decision to acquire the Middlebrook Water Co. spring water source, Nestlé Waters Canada has asked for a permit from the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change to perform a pump test. The test will provide the scientific data to ensure there are no negative impacts on the water levels or surrounding ecosystem. Once completed, all of the data will be shared with local government, home owners and the community during office hours and through one-on-one meetings.
The scheduled April office hours are as follows:
Tuesday, April 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Friday, April 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday, April 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
