April 24, 2018 (Erin, ON): Nestlé Waters Canada announced they are contributing $33,037 towards the Erin Community Benefit Fund based on their 2017 annual report results.

The Erin Community Benefit Fund was established in 2017, and is Nestlé Waters’ way to contribute to Erin’s long-term community oriented infrastructure. The idea for the fund was created after several interviews as part of Nestlé Waters’ Community Relations Program which found that the community was looking for Nestlé Waters Canada to make a real financial impact to the Town.

“We’ve had a long history of working with the Town of Erin to support public spaces recycling, the Erin Skate Park, and Barbour Field,” says Andreanne Simard, Natural Resource Manager at Nestlé Waters Canada. “The Community Benefit Fund builds on our long history with Erin, and gives the Town a continuous and consistent revenue source.”

This is the second year Nestlé Waters Canada has contributed to the Community Benefit Fund. The fund is based off of Nestlé Waters’ water takings in Erin, with a minimum of $25,000 contributed annually. At the direction of council, the fund will support investments in community oriented infrastructure.
