HOPE, British Columbia – Nestlé Waters Canada, Canada’s marketshare-leading manufacturer and distributor of healthy beverage choices, today announced that it has donated 3,000 cases of bottled water to the District of Hope in support of local residents affected by a boil water advisory.

Company employees, District staff and elected officials handed out 72,000 bottles of water with an estimated retail value of $13,500 to local residents, Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers, ambulance service workers and those at risk – like seniors -- from the community’s municipal offices over the weekend. More bottled water will be donated, as required.

Nestlé Waters Canada has donated more than 1,000,000 bottles of water to Canadians in need across the country so far this year because of flooding, severe hydration challenges and/or temporary municipal infrastructure breakdown.

Over the last decade, the Company has donated millions of bottles of water during floods in Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan, forest fires in British Columbia and northern Ontario and boil-water advisories and other potable water challenges across Canada.
