Employees raise over $6,800 to help less fortunate families

PUSLINCH, Ontario –Nestlé Waters Canada announced today that its Guelph based employees have raised over $6,800 to help nine local families through Guelph Food Bank’s Adopt-A-Family program this holiday season.

Now in its ninth year, the Adopt-A-Family program has helped thousands of needy families in Guelph to have a better holiday season through the provision of food vouchers, gift cards, clothing, toys and other needs.

“We are thrilled how our employees came together again this year to help local families in need,” said Debbie Moore, President at Nestlé Waters Canada. “It has been a busy and challenging year, but in the spirit of the season our employees pushed everything aside to focus on helping families in need.”

This was the second year that Nestlé Waters Canada Guelph plant and offices participated in the Adopt-A-Family program. The goal for this year was to match the 6 families that were adopted last year. “I am so pleased to see that we far exceeded our goal of matching last year’s donations and adopted three additional families,” said Moore.

Donations were delivered to the Guelph Food Bank Adopt-A-Family program offices by Nestlé Waters Employees in time to ensure a happy holiday for families in need.
