Company employees clean Wellington Road 34
PUSLINCH, Ontario –Nestlé Waters Canada, Canada’s market share-leading manufacturer and distributor of healthy beverage choices, today announced that the Company and its employees performed a spring clean-up along Wellington Road 34 as part of its Adopt-A-Road program participation, celebrating Earth Day.
Employees at the Puslinch bottling plant cleaned up Wellington Road 34 between Victoria Road and the Wellington-Halton county line as well as Wellington Road 34 between Brock Road South and Highway 6.
The Adopt-A-Road Program is a public service initiative for volunteers to enhance the local litter collection activities of the community where they live by picking up litter along road right-of-ways. It is a way for environmentally-conscious industries like Nestlé Waters Canada to contribute to cleaner and more beautiful road systems in their community. Under the program, the Company has agreed to adopt a section of road allowance and keep it clean. The Company is recognized by a sign erected by the County of Wellington acknowledging its efforts.
