PUSLINCH, Ontario – More than 1,200 local residents attended Nestlé Waters biennial community open house on Saturday September 21st. The event was an opportunity for community members to meet the Nestlé Waters Canada team and learn more about the bottled water industry by taking a guided tour through the plant.

Guests were asked for a voluntary toonie donation per vehicle, which was matched by Nestlé, in support of the United Way of Guelph. The United Way of Guelph funds 89 social programs to improve the lives of youth, adults, families and seniors living in Guelph, Wellington County and Dufferin County.

During the Open House, friends and neighbours were given a chance to meet members of the Friends of Mill Creek, Puslinch Fire Department and St John’s Ambulance. The event also included a caricature artist, Children’s “Make a Splash” Water Festival and face painting. Additionally everyone was invited to enjoy a free barbeque and Nestlé product sampling.
