At Nestlé Waters Canada, we are incredibly transparent when it comes to our operations. For one, all of our data is posted on our website. This includes our 300+ page annual reports for our sources, which include all of our monitoring and water taking data.
These monitoring reports are also shared with stakeholders before we submit them to the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks. Every year, we host a Technical Engagement Meeting where we invite technical representatives from various groups in our source communities to review our annual reports and provide feedback before they are finalized and submitted. Some of the technical representatives are from local Townships, universities, conservation authorities, First Nations, Wellington Water Watchers and Save Our Water.
We also host community office hours (where residents can meet with us to discuss concerns or ask questions), host a biennial open house at our factories in Aberfoyle and Hope where the community is welcomed for a barbecue and tour of our factory, and we have advertisement spaces in our local community papers where we answer questions submitted to our email@example.com email. We also regularly host school, community, and stakeholder groups for tours at our site.
